Influence of defects on electromagnetic fields in the problem of diagnostic of ferromagnetic pipes
We describe further modifications of the multigrid solver for 3D frequency domain Maxwell equations in cylindrical geometry proposed in previous preprint of the Keldysh Inst.Appl. Maths., No. 128, 2005. Here we incorporate an approach of embedded grids and introduce real arithmetic in operations with the main matrix. Both modifications enhance about 3-5 times the capability of the solver (1.5x due to real arithmetic and 2x-4x due to embedded grids). Smaller details of geometry can be also resolved now on PC owing to safe of memory.
